Hollywood, FL - Hollywood Fire Rescue’s Hazmat team responded to a gas leak in the 18000 block of Pines Boulevard in Pembroke Pines, working alongside BSO Hazmat units.

Crews determined that a 2-inch poly natural gas line had been struck, resulting in an active leak. Hazmat personnel quickly implemented control measures to contain the hazard and safely seal the line.

The situation was brought under control without incident and was subsequently turned over to TECO for further handling and repair.
