(OCALA, FL.) July 13, 2022 – On Wednesday, July 13, at approximately 10:46 a.m. Ocala Fire Rescue responded to a motor vehicle accident with rollover and possible entrapment at SW College Road and SW 23rd Avenue.

Upon arrival, Engine 4 found a white Nissan SUV with moderate front damage and a silver Jeep SUV with intrusion to the passenger side, a broken windshield, and shattered sunroof glass.

Although both drivers were ambulatory, the Jeep's driver needed assistance exiting the overturned vehicle.

Using the broken sunroof's opening, crews assisted the driver in exiting.

Once removed, the driver of the Jeep was transported to the hospital.

No other injuries were reported.

Ocala Police Department and Marion County Fire Rescue also responded.
