Trumbull, CT - Long Hill Volunteer Fire Company #1 responded to a reported vehicle fire on Richfield Drive near the Bridgeport town line. First-arriving units encountered a single vehicle heavily involved in fire conditions.

A total of 10 firefighters responded aboard Engines 205, 206, and 209, initiating an aggressive fire attack that quickly brought the blaze under control. Operations focused on extinguishment and preventing any extension to nearby areas.

It was later determined that the vehicle was located within the City of Bridgeport. The Bridgeport Fire Department remained on scene to conduct the fire investigation.
