Ramsey Firefighters Assist at Second Alarm Structure Fire in Upper Saddle River

Ramsey, NJ - Members of the Ramsey Fire Department responded on a mutual aid assignment into Upper Saddle River for a second alarm residential structure fire at the request of the local fire department.


Operating under challenging conditions, crews accessed and navigated a wet metal roof to reach the affected area of the structure. Firefighters worked to open up the roof, allowing for proper ventilation and helping to expose hidden fire, supporting suppression efforts on the interior.


The coordinated operation demonstrated the skill and teamwork required to operate safely on difficult surfaces while contributing to bringing the incident under control alongside assisting agencies.
