Monroe, CT - The Monroe Volunteer Fire Department responded to a serious three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Route 110 and Wheeler Road, resulting in the closure of Route 110 between Moose Hill Road and Old Tannery Road.

Emergency crews from the fire department, Monroe EMS, and mutual aid ambulance services operated on scene to provide patient care and manage the incident. A total of six individuals were transported to the hospital for evaluation and treatment.

The department expressed appreciation to the mutual aid paramedics and ambulance crews for their prompt response, as well as to bystanders who assisted the injured under challenging weather conditions.
