Old Saybrook, CT. — June 12 — The Old Saybrook Fire Department concluded the day's emergency responses by responding to a car accident in the Indian Town area. During patient care procedures, firefighters helped EMS staff, guarded the area, and evaluated potential threats. Old Saybrook and Westbrook ambulances carried injured residents to a nearby hospital for additional assessment and care.

Until the situation was resolved, crews also assisted in maintaining a safe work area and controlled traffic.
