July 4, 2026 - Units were dispatched to a house fire on Lincoln Rd, Perkiomen, at 9:28 am. A neighbor called and reported seeing smoke and flames from a nearby house. Heavy fire was seen through the garage roof first in officers confirmed. Arriving crews made a rapid knock on the fire, and most personnel assisted with ventilation efforts and finding and extinguishing hotspots. A neighboring house on the D side of the house of origin received some damage due to melted siding, but there was no further extension. EMS was dispatched to provide cold water and stand by due to the heat of the day. There were no injuries to firefighters or residents. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
