Milford, CT - Milford Fire Department crews responded to a reported shed fire on French Drive, where first-arriving units found a well-involved shed with additional structures in close proximity.

Engine 6 advanced a handline to the rear yard and quickly brought the fire under control, preventing extension to nearby sheds. Additional units, including Squad 1 and Quint 5, assisted with overhaul operations and extinguishment of remaining hot spots and debris.

The fire was reported to have started while the homeowner was operating a lawnmower and was unable to move it away from the shed. No injuries were reported.
