EMMAUS, PA - On July 6th at 2:55 PM, the Emmaus, Vera Cruz, Western Salisbury, Upper Milford Western District, Lower Macungie and Eastern Salisbury Fire Departments were dispatched for a dwelling fire at 911 Lawrence Drive in the borough of Emmaus. Chief 28 went responding, said he had a header showing and had the 2nd alarm dispatched. Chief 28 arrived on the scene and had a working fire in the rear of the house behind the garage. Two engines from the Emmaus Fire Department arrived on scene and went into service with several hand lines to bring the fire under control. The cause of the fire is pending the outcome of the investigation by the fire marshal.
