Chesterfield fire recruit dies

CHESTERFIELD,VA- Chesterfield Fire and EMS recruit Tyvaughn Elderidge, who was 26 years old, of Richmond, passed away on July 3. Aldridge suffered a medical emergency during daily physical training on July 1.

Chesterfield Fire Chief Edward L. Senter,Jr. , said, " We are heartbroken by this sudden loss and our sincere condolences go out to firefighter Tyvaughn Elderidge's family and friends. This is a tragic loss of an amazing young man who made the commitment to serve his community. Firefighter Elderidge will always be Chesterfield Fire and EMS family."
