LODI, NJ - On July 5th at 5:46 a.m., the Lodi Volunteer Fire Department & Lodi Police Department were dispatched to 119 Route 46 west for an activated commercial fire alarm. Upon arrival of Chief Garzon, a 360 was conducted with no signs of smoke or fire from the exterior. Engine 615 arrived shortly after to access the Knox box when a fire was discovered inside the business. Crews made entry by forcing the door. One attack line was stretched inside to extinguish the fire in minutes to prevent more damage to the building. No injuries were reported. Lodi Fire Prevention is investigating the incident.
