Lewiston, ME - Lewiston Fire Department responded to multiple reports of a building fire near the 300 block of Pleasant Street, locating the incident on Goffe Street.

Crews arrived to find a single-family home with fire in the rear and extending into the attic. Firefighters deployed multiple lines and made an aggressive interior attack to bring the fire under control.

No occupants were home at the time, and no injuries were reported. The cause remains under investigation.
