Vehicle Fire on Jamestown Bridge Quickly Brought Under Control

Jamestown, RI - Jamestown Vol. Fire Department responded to multiple reports of a vehicle fire on Route 138 eastbound on the Jamestown Bridge, near the center span.
Chief 1 arrived to find a working fire, with smoke visible from a distance. Crews operated alongside North Kingstown Fire Department to quickly contain and extinguish the blaze.
Units remained on scene for about an hour to ensure full extinguishment. No injuries were reported.
