This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

The Ho-Ho-Kus Volunteer Fire Department responded to two different car crashes on June 5 within ninety minutes. A car hit and sheared off a utility pole on Sheridan Avenue in the first incident.

The second happened at the intersection of Hollywood Avenue and North Franklin Turnpike, where one car was left on residential property after a three-vehicle incident. Firefighters helped other emergency responders, secured the damaged cars, and dealt with scene dangers.
