Passaic Crews Make Great Stop at Pennington Ave. Dwelling Fire

PASSAIC, NJ - On July 1st at approximately 12:15 PM, the Passaic FD was dispatched to 108 Pennington Ave. on the report of a house fire. Upon arrival, fire was coming through a second floor wall on the A/D side of the three-story home.


Residents were home at the time and were experiencing electrical problems in the home, with circuit breakers tripping and electric going out. The residents called an electrician to the home and he was there when the fire was discovered.


The fire was held to the wall and one room of the home, and walls and ceilings were opened above and below the fire to check for extension. There were no injuries.


Passaic County Rehab unit was on the scene and mutual aid was received from several surrounding municipalities.
