Reading, PA - Shortly after 10:30 P.M. on Thursday, July 2nd firefighters were alerted for a building fire at 324 Pine Street. Chief Stoudt (C4) arrived with smoke showing from the first floor of a 3 story EOR. Firefighters forced their way into the building and located the fire in a rear apartment. Crews stretched a line into the building and knocked down the fire while other firefighters searched apartments on the upper floors. All searches were clear and the fire was placed under control at 10:45 P.M. No injuries were reported, the Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.
