Mutual Aid Crews Responded to White Oak Commercial Fire

White Oak, PA. — June 26 — A reported commercial structure fire in the 1100 block of Lincoln Way prompted the response of White Oak Volunteer Fire Department Station 299. Police officials confirmed smoke emanating from the building's second floor and top, prompting a mutual aid reaction. Suppression operations were aided by firefighters from White Oak EMS, North Versailles Fire Department, McKeesport Fire Department, and Rainbow Volunteer Fire Company.


Crews brought the fire under control in approximately 30 minutes before inspecting for extension and completed overhaul operations. The synchronized reaction showed the need of mutual aid in providing personnel and equipment during commercial fire emergencies.
