Mutual Aid Crews Managed Franklin Avenue Incident

Wyckoff, N.J. — June 1 — A reported two-vehicle collision on Franklin Avenue prompted the Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department to arrive. Until a towing company arrived, firefighters stabilized the damaged cars, secured the area, and managed fluid leaks. Sicomac Engine Company No. 3, Protection Fire Company No. 1, and Community Engine Company No. 2 all contributed to the response.


While traffic was controlled around the incident, crews collaborated with emergency medical personnel and law enforcement to maintain a safe working space. At auto accidents, fire crews frequently carry out hazard control to lower secondary risks and aid in recovery efforts. Responding officials reported no significant injuries.
