Firefighters Control Three-Story House Fire in 15 Minutes

The Frankford Township Volunteer Fire Department responded to a reported residential structure fire on June 25th in conjunction with mutual aid departments.
According to officials, the first-arriving chief asked for a working fire assignment after confirming that there was fire coming from the front of a three-story wood-frame house. Shortly after, a second alert was sent out to send more personnel to the area. After launching a vigorous interior attack, firefighters contained the fire in about fifteen minutes. Second-alarm companies were released when crews finished overhaul and mop-up activities after the situation had stabilized.
The Beemerville Fire Department, Sussex Fire Department, Hardyston Township Volunteer Fire Department, High Point Regional EMS, Wantage Township Office of Emergency Management, Montague Volunteer Fire Department, and other mutual aid organizations were commended by department officials for their support. Additionally, officials offered their support to the residents who were impacted by the fire.
