At around 5:54 p.m. on June 29th, Washington Township Fire Department raced to assist Franklin Township Fire & EMS after a fast-moving brush fire broke out on Benjamin Drive in Warren County.

What started as a small brush fire quickly turned dangerous when flames spread to a nearby home. Crews from both departments jumped into action, battling intense heat and thick smoke as the fire crept closer to causing serious damage.

Thanks to their quick teamwork and strong training, firefighters were able to knock down the blaze before it could destroy the house. The damage was kept to a minimum, and no injuries were reported.

This fire was a powerful reminder of how quickly a small spark can grow — and how vital it is to have skilled crews ready to respond in moments like these.
