Munhall, PA - Munhall Central assisted Homestead at a working structure fire in the 300 block of East 11th Avenue. Engine 201 operated as the second-due unit, securing water supply, stretching a backup line, and supporting suppression on upper floors, while additional crews performed roof ventilation.
Balloon-frame construction contributed to rapid fire spread, and the incident escalated to three alarms. A possible lightning strike is under investigation as the cause.
Station 201 responded with 12 members, operating on scene for over four hours before clearing.
