The Northpole Fire Company responded to a working structure fire in the Town of Rutland on June 15th as part of a third-alarm mutual assistance assignment.
Engine 2, Tanker 1, Chief 1, and Chief 3 responded to the scene at 4:59 a.m., according to officials. While supporting firefighters from many nearby departments, crews constructed water supply operations and supplied manpower. Before being freed and going back to work, members stayed on the scene for a little more than two hours.
