The Moscow Fire & Hose Company responded to an ATV rollover on the Lost Trails property in Roaring Brook Township on June 21.

According to officials, in order to reach the injured patient, firefighters and emergency medical services had to venture far into the network of forested trails due to the remote position. Together, teams from the Elmhurst-Roaring Brook Volunteer Fire Company, Jefferson Township Volunteer Fire Company, Dunmore Firefighters IAFF Local 860, and Pennsylvania Ambulance treated the patient, packed them for transportation, and transported them several miles via the trail system to a road that was accessible. After that, the patient was taken to a nearby hospital by Moscow Ambulance.
