In the 21000 block of Route 333 in Delaware Township on June 19, Friendship Fire Company No. 1 responded with Squad 6 to help the Thompsontown Volunteer Fire Company at a car accident involving fire.
The squad was sent out at around three in the morning, according to officials. Before firefighters came, Chief 8 discovered a fully involved car with all occupants safely out. Before going back to work, crews worked to contain the situation and stayed on the scene for around half an hour.
