Operating in the Ickesburg Fire Company's first-due area, Friendship Fire Company No. 1 firefighters responded with Tanker 1 to a working barn fire in Northeast Madison Township on June 2.

According to officials, Tanker 1 was sent to help with the mutual aid response at 10:29 p.m. After several hours of fireground activities, crews returned to Juniata County just before two in the morning after providing water supply support throughout the incident.
