WOODSTOCK, CT. — June 18 — Woodstock Volunteer Fire Association. After employees at Rogers Corporation reported seeing flames coming from the roof, Sta 76 responded to a reported structure fire. Based on fresh information, a second alarm was requested while crews responded.

When firefighters arrived, the building had been evacuated and every employee had been found. The building's automated fire safety system had already prevented the fire from spreading because it was in the ventilation system. The remaining fire on the roof and in the ventilation system was put out by crews. The East Putnam Fire Department looked for hidden hot spots using a thermal imaging drone. There were no reported injuries.
