Dog Rescued at Fairport House Fire

FAIRPORT, NY - On Sunday, June 26th at 12:26 P.M., firefighters from Fairport, Penfield and East Rochester responded to a house fire at 23 Railroad Street in the village of Fairport. Crews found a fire on the first floor of an occupied multiple dwelling, and were able to remove a dog from the structure, who was treated at the scene with oxygen by Perinton Ambulance personnel. The blaze was quickly brought under control with no injuries reported. Officials from the Monroe County Fire Bureau were investigating the cause.
