PITTSFORD, NY - On Saturday, June 21st around 8:50 P.M., Pittsford firefighters were dispatched to the report of a vehicle fire at 28 Esternay Lane. Fire units arrived on location and found an SUV on fire in the driveway with extension to a one-story dwelling. A working fire was declared, and mutual aid responded to the scene from the Brighton Fire Department. The homeowner was assisted by Monroe County Sheriff's deputies in getting his dogs to safety. There were no injuries reported. Officials from the Monroe County Fire Bureau were investigating the cause.
