WESTPORT, CT - On June 12th, Westport firefighters responded to an animal rescue on Wilton Road after a local business owner discovered several ducklings trapped inside a storm drain, while their mother remained close by. Members assigned to Rescue 3 quickly located the ducklings and carefully brought all four to safety. Once above ground, the ducklings were reunited with their anxious mother, bringing the incident to a heartwarming end.
