FREMONT, NH - The Fremont Fire Rescue Department responded to a pickup truck fire on Whittier Drive, close to Sandown Road, on May 22nd. When Engine 1 arrived, the car was completely involved and there were flames spreading into a grassy area nearby. Firefighters extinguished the vehicle fire and the surrounding foliage while swiftly deploying hose lines to contain the spread. Crews stayed on scene to look for hot spots and make sure the area was secure. There were no reported injuries.
