KENT, CT. — June 1 — A car fire in Warren moved into a garage, and the Kent Volunteer Fire Department helped with a multi-agency response. Before fire units took control, members of Connecticut State Police Troop L arrived early and assisted in securing the area. Suppression efforts were spearheaded by Warren Volunteer Fire Company firefighters, with assistance from mutual-aid teams from Kent, Washington, Bantam, Cornwall, Sharon, Lakeville, and Northville. The Office of the Washington Fire Marshal also reacted.
