Structure Fire for Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY - At about 12:30 P.M. on June 22nd, firefighters were dispatched to 16 Scott Street for a reported structure fire. A Jamestown police officer went on scene and reported heavy smoke coming from the second-floor windows. Deputy Chief Coon said firefighters found contents burning on the second and third floors. Deputy Chief Coon said the building has been vacant for about a decade. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
