Placentia, CA - On June 17th at approximately 12:00pm Fire units from OCFA, Fullerton/Brea and Anaheim responded to a reported fire in an apartment building on the 700 block of La Palma in the city of Placentia. Upon arrival, the first in company reported heavy smoke and two apartment units fully involved with fire. The working fire was quickly bumped up to a 2nd alarm. Interior firefighting was hindered due to a large 20 gallon propane tank outside the door of one of the involved units. A total of four apartment units were damaged displacing several residents. The cause of the fire is under investigation and no injuries were reported.
