Newbury Firefighters Contain 2nd Alarm Structure Fire in South Newbury

Newbury, NH - Newbury Fire Rescue responded to a second alarm structure fire on Morse Lane in the South Newbury section of town, where crews arrived to find a double-wide trailer with a single-story wood-frame addition fully involved.
Engine 2, Engine 3, Engine 4, Tanker 1, and Rescue 1 operated on scene with assistance from mutual aid departments including Bradford, Sutton, New London, Sunapee, and Lempster.
All occupants were safely out of the residence prior to arrival. Despite rapid fire spread, crews worked to bring the incident under control in just over an hour.
New London Ambulance stood by at the scene as a precaution, though no injuries were reported among occupants or firefighters.
Following extinguishment, firefighters remained on scene for overhaul, cleanup, and to return apparatus to service.
