CHAMPLAIN, NY - Firefighters from the Champlain Fire District returned to the scene of a barn fire on June 12th to put out any hot spots that remained in big round hay bales. Departments from Vermont, Canada, and New York responded in to the scene. Crews worked in extremely hot conditions while containing the fire, safeguarding farm equipment, and stopping the flames from spreading to a larger adjacent barn. Champlain-Mooers EMS provided rehab during the incident.
