Freeport Fire-EMS Assists at Route 28 Vehicle-versus-Deer Crash

On June 13, the Pennsylvania State Police, the South Buffalo Volunteer Fire Department, and Freeport Fire-EMS responded to a car-versus-deer collision on northbound Route 28 close to mile marker 30.
According to officials, Wagon 70 and Medic units 73 and 74 provided on-site assistance. The collision did not result in any reported injuries.
Drivers were cautioned by emergency personnel to approach incident areas with caution, especially on dimly lit roads. The significance of slowing down and pulling over for emergency vehicles and workers on roadways was emphasized by officials.
