LAKE GEORGE, NY — The Hudson Valley Volunteer Firemen's Convention was held in Lake George from June 11th through June 14th. Events included a golf outing, pub crawl, Hudson Valley Convention, Red/Blue Vest Outing, and a boat cruise. Friday night featured the Mardi Gras Parade, followed by the Dress Parade on Saturday. Fire departments from across the Hudson Valley marched. Judges evaluated the parade, and prior to the event, a fire truck inspection was conducted. After the parade concluded, trophies were awarded at Shepard Park. Results have not yet been made available.
