At 4:10 pm on Monday, 6/13/2022 the New London Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire in a white house on the corner of Connecticut Avenue and Lincoln Avenue. Engine 2 arrived at 4:12 with smoke showing from the first floor of a 2.5 story wood frame and transmitted the working fire adding the Sub Base FAST and Truck 15 from Waterford.
Engine 2 stretched a 1.75” hose line through the front door where they found a room of fire on the Delta side. Engine 1 established the water supply while Truck 2 performed horizontal ventilation and flew the stick. Engine 3 and the ambulances performed the primary search and stretched a back up line. Battalion 3 had command and reported the fire knocked down at 4:18. The New London Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
