NEW WINDSOR, NY - The Salisbury Mills FD responded to a MVA involving an SUV and truck with possible entrapment at Orrs Mills Hill Road and Jackson Ave., June 14th. Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to free the trapped driver of the SUV. The truck driver was not injured. Cornwall EMS with a New Windsor medic on board transported the driver of the SUV to Montefiore/St. Luke's Hospital. Cornwall Town Police are investigating the cause. Witnesses stated that the trucks are hauling material from up the road and go back and forth all day. The truck involved in the accident was not loaded at the time of the crash.
