JAMESTOWN, NY – At 12:14 p.m. on June 12, 2026, the Jamestown Fire Department was dispatched to 408 Lafayette Street for a reported structure fire. At 12:16 p.m., Car 1 arrived on scene and reported heavy smoke coming from the rear of the structure. At 12:22 p.m., Car 1 requested an off-duty recall of 12 firefighters and one officer, along with two fire investigators, to respond to the scene. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
