Crews from Newtown Square Fire Company along with Broomall, Rose Tree and Media Fire Companies were dispatched to the 3500 block of Caley Rd for the report of a house fire. PD went on location first reporting a working kitchen fire. Engine 41 arrived within minutes and secured their own water supply and advanced an 1 3/4 hand line and put a quick knock on a fire in the kitchen of the residence. At that time the assignment was held to Newtown Square and Broomall. Crews operated for another 30 minutes mopping up and clearing the residence of smoke.
