Firefighters from truck two set up in the middle of the roadway and made their way to the roof of the structure. The next arriving engine in established the water supply at the end of the street and firefighters deployed a large diameter hose down the roadway to supply the engine company on scene. Firefighters on the second floor, notified command that they had a heavy smoke condition and it was advancing further. Firefighters opened up the access to the basement and made their way downstairs to check to see if they had any extension into the basement area. Firefighters in the front of the building set up a fan in front of the structure to start to vent the heavy smoke condition. Firefighters on the first-floor notified command that they had the heavy fire condition completely knocked down and began to conduct extensive overhaul in the kitchen area.
