Arriving chiefs had a excavator fully involved on a pile of rubble that used to be a building. Long handline stretches were made reach the fire and foam lone was used due to fuel burning and fluids. The fire was knocked down and about 20 minutes.
The Bergen County Hazardous Materials unit was special called to the scene. Mutual aid from Garfield, Fair Lawn and Rochelle Park covered the town.
No injuries were reported.
