Berwick, PA - Members of the Reliance Fire Company No. 1 Water Rescue Team successfully rescued a boater from the Susquehanna River after his vessel began taking on water. Rescue personnel safely brought the individual to shore and transferred him to EMS crews for evaluation and treatment after he showed signs of hypothermia.

Despite rescue efforts, the boat could not be recovered and was lost in the river. The incident highlights the swift response and coordination of emergency personnel in ensuring the boater's safety.
