CRESTVIEW, FL - A technical rescue involving a person trapped in an elevated bucket far above the ground was handled by Crestview Fire Department personnel on May 29th. Truck 3 was sent to the area after the person was unable to safely descend, according to officials. As soon as they arrived, firemen evaluated the situation and put a rescue plan into action to safely return the victim to the ground. The rescue was accomplished without any injuries because of the response personnel's coordination and training. Truck 3 and all other participants were commended by department authorities for their professionalism and cooperation in resolving the situation safely.
