Neighbor Keeps Outside Fire from Spreading into Garage in Manchester

MANCHESTER, NH - During the busy afternoon of May 29th, fire companies were clearing a reported water rescue when they were dispatched to a Lake Avenue home for a garage fire. Squad 1 was first on scene and reported an outside fire extended in the rear of the building. A neighbor was keeping the fire from spreading with a garden hose, and first-due Engine 8's crew finished the job upon their arrival.
