Three Alarms Struck for Stubborn Manchester Fire

MANCHESTER, NH - During the afternoon hours of May 29th, Manchester Fire Alarm received reports of a fire on the porches of a Brook Street home.
Engine 5 arrived and confirmed fire showing from the third-floor, and a working fire was transmitted. After a short time, a second-alarm was dispatched, as it was discovered that the fire had extended into the attic. A third-alarm was struck about 10 minutes after and companies went defensive.
Firefighters fought the fire for more than an hour before bringing it under control.
