The Paxtang Fire Company Harrisburg, PA. Dauphin County housed their new Engine 40 on June 4th, 2011. Engine 40 is a Pierce Arrow Extreme 1500 GPM pump 500 gallon water tank. Local mutual aid fire companies were in attendance. Also local mutual aid fire police assisted with closing down Derry Street for the housing. Engine 40 ran it's first fire on June 3rd, 2011 in Swatara Twp at a building fire.
Engine 40 was dedicated to the late Mike Powers of the Paxtang Fire Company. In honor of Mike's Naval Career Mrs Powers was asked to christen the new engine.
