Firefighters Respond to Two-Car Crash with Injuries in Newburgh

NEWBURGH, NY – The Orange Lake Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle MVA with injuries on State Route 52 at Lakeside Road on June 4th. The Town of Newburgh Police Department and Town of Newburgh EMS were on scene. Firefighters applied Speedy Dry to absorb fluids on the roadway and secured both vehicles from potential hazards. Town of Newburgh EMS transported one driver to Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital for treatment. State Route 52 was closed between Monarch Drive and Lakeside Road during the incident. The Town of Newburgh Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
