Pittsburgh, PA - While responding to training, Cherry City Volunteer Fire Company members were dispatched for a report of a vehicle collision into a building with entrapment. Once the patient was safely transferred to EMS care, attention shifted to the structural integrity of the building. Rescues 260, 149, and 102 conducted a thorough assessment of the damage and began shoring operations from the basement through to the second floor due to the extent of the structural compromise.
